YOUTH GROUP ROAD TRIP 2010
The youth are going to Beech Bend Park and Splash Lagoon in Bowling Green, KY, July 31st. We will leave at 9 am from First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill and return 9 pm that evening. Adult Admission, persons 54 inches and above, is $29.99. Child Admission, persons under 54 inches, is $25.99. Senior Adult, persons age 60 & over, is $25.99, and children 2 & under are free. Also, Beech Bend Park and Splash Lagoon provides FREE soft drinks, FREE parking, FREE sunscreen, and FREE mats & tubes every day! All children are invited, though children 8 years old and under MUST provide their own chaperone. Young people, 9 year olds and up, will just need to have their signed permission slips and money turned in to Ms. Anna NO LATER THAN July 11th (that is the last day of VBS, Friday). Two years ago the youth did this and had a fantastic time! Beech Bend Park and Splash Lagoon is a theme park and water park in one. Hey everyone!!!! So I'm sorry I've taken so long to check in with you guys but I have been crazy busy up here on the Mountain. I have been through training and 1 and a half camp weeks and am getting ready for the 156 campers coming tomorrow (June 20) I say 1 and a half because our first week on the job we had Fish Camp which is like our normal service camp but with middle school age kids 10-13 and they are only here from Wednesday to Saturday instead of Sunday to Saturday. This was the first year ever for Fish Camp but it went really well. This week I had pre-camp while our sister staff had campers and I am so excited for everything coming up this week. I am having a great time, but I am working very hard along with my staff to make everything work the way it's supposed to. God is showing up here in really beautiful ways and it makes living without air conditioning and running on barely any sleep all worthwhile.
